We specialise in adapting proven technologies from the medical, mining and oil and gas sectors, including magnetic resonance, radiometric and induction sensing, to deliver practical, scalable solutions for farming.
Our mission is to make complex soil measurements simple and accessible, helping farmers and agronomists make better decisions in real time. We work closely with growers, researchers and machinery partners to ensure our tools integrate seamlessly into existing workflows, delivering value without disruption.

resonAg’s proprietary sensor systems harness advanced magnetic resonance (MR) and radiometric gamma detection to characterise soil in real time with high spatial resolution.
MR techniques exploit the behaviour of hydrogen nuclei in water molecules under a magnetic field, enabling precise measurement of clay/capillary-bound moisture, pore structure and fluid mobility.
Radiometric sensing detects naturally occurring gamma emissions from isotopes such as potassium-40, thorium and uranium, which vary with soil minerology and clay content.

Our tine embedded sensor systems measure plant-available water (PAW), soil texture and structural variability as you seed, helping farmers, agronomists and machinery partners make smarter decisions, faster.
MRI+ uses advanced magnetic resonance and radiometric techniques to detect clay content, clay/capillary-bound fluid, total moisture, grain size distribution, density and compaction, all in motion. The sensor suite is designed to retrofit into existing equipment with no disruption to current workflows.
Future development will expand into nutrient and carbon mapping, including phosphorus, potassium, nitrogen and soil organic carbon, enabling a full-spectrum soil intelligence platform for global agriculture.
Built for the paddock
resonAg’s sensor systems are engineered for real-world conditions from dryland cropping to high-variability soils. Our technology is undergoing rigorous field testing with agronomy and farmer RD&E groups to ensure it delivers reliable, actionable insights where it matters most: in the paddock.
With each season, we’re refining performance, expanding sensor capabilities, and working closely with early collaborators to shape a platform that meets the demands of modern agriculture.

Plant Available Water (PAW) probe
Soil moisture intelligence.
Provides precise, continuous total and plant available moisture readings from a handheld probe, regardless of soil type, to guide irrigation, seeding and fertiliser placement.

Radiometrics probe
Soil composition profiling.
A handheld probe that measures natural gamma radiation emitted by soil to infer texture, structure and variability.
Supports mapping of soil types, parent material and potential yield zones, enabling better decisions in variable-rate applications and land management.

Multi-sensor tine
Embedded soil intelligence.
Combines MR, radiometric and inductions sensors into tine-mounted units for real-time soil profiling during seeding.
Captures plant-available water, soil texture and structural variability to support precision input decisions and zone-based management.

Adaptive seeding system
Precision in every row.
Powered by resonAg’s soil moisture data, this system will enable real-time adjustment of seeder bar depth based on in-field conditions.
Integrating PAW readings into machinery helps optimise seeding depth, improving emergence, reducing crop stress and boosting yield from the very start.
